Who is Radha?

In few mythology books, Radha is considered as Lord Laxmi, whereas in some Purana Radha as mentioned as the "Maya" of Krishna i.e. he is the Krishna only in female form.

Srimati Radharani is the shakti of the Lord Sri Krishna as he has innumerable potencies, in that Radha Rani shakti is one.

Srimati Radharani is the mother of the universe, the spiritual mother of all souls. And the concept of mother is the most sacred symbol—that of purity, selflessness, caring, sharing, nurturing, and love.
